Spacious discovery
Within the frame a new sense of order emerges. This is different to the limitless expanse beyond the lens, yet careful composition will distil that expanse to a refined essence. The experience of beyond the frame and within the frame differs. Pure physical sensation cannot be replicated - a bitter cutting wind, for instance, or the whistling beat of wings as a swan flies by - but within the frame more can be revealed of the psychological experience of time and place.
