Quiet forces

I like films where nothing happens. “A man lives by a lake” – that is the kind of plot summary that appeals. Of course, where nothing is going on, there needs to be intensity attached to every action, profundity to each image, for the audience to remain inspired. Quiet forces are artistically the most powerful, the most lasting, the most difficult to create.
